CT Social Studies Leadership Summit

The Connecticut Council for the Social Studies and Connecticut State Department of Education invites districts to send two (2) social studies curriculum leaders and/or classroom teachers to the Social Studies Leadership Summit where attendees will receive an introduction to the new social studies standards! 

Tuesday, May 9, 2023 | 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM

• Keynote Speaker: Dr. Hasan Jeffries, The Ohio State University

• Engaging Controversial Issues in the Classroom workshop by Close Up Foundation

• Preview Connecticut's New Elementary and Secondary Social Studies Standards

District social studies leaders will receive a promotional code to gain access at no cost. Lunch is included.
